adequate stay with a bar issue

fresh fruitclosed bar
the breakfast was good (i especially liked the fresh fruit).
The bar was advertised as open daily, but it was closed every night . This was frustrating because i specifically wanted to have a nightcap there after a long day, and i found no one to talk about this problem with.

the location is excellent. it is a short walk to the pier. a family room accommodated us comfortably (it worked well for our needs). the hosts welcomed us with a smile and helped with questions.
the rooms were small (smaller than i expected). there wasn't much space to move around. the shower cubicle was tiny. i'd prefer more space.

Really good Stay Near the Pier

short walkwarm welcomefast servicesmall shower
The location was a short walk from South Pier. I really appreciated this convenience. I arrived earlier than expected and received a very warm welcome. When I wanted to watch television in my room later, I discovered I had limited channels, and the staff promptly moved me to another room. The service was fast and helpful!
Although there were lovely finishing touches in my room, like water in the fridge and minis in the bathroom, the shower cubicle was small, and it was a bit challenging to move around.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features very quirky decor in the lounge and dining area. I enjoyed the unique design. There is also gluten free breakfast, and this caters to various dietary needs. I consider this a very thoughtful touch.
Rooms
10/10
My room included coffee and tea facilities, and I found this useful. I had a mini fridge in the room. This allowed me to keep drinks cool. The room was also marvellously clean!
